Verizon's marketing and communications took a creative leap with the development of the VIP Group. I applied to participate in this development phase and have stayed on with the program ever since. The "VIPs" represent the company through an employee's personal lens through content creation and material for our internal broadcast group, Inside Verizon. These are examples of my most loved content over the years.
In May 2022, I earned my way to one of Verizon's retreats for top performers: Winner's Circle. I created social media content for Verizon's official Instagram pages, one of which is featured at the top left. This was the most incredible, rewarding opportunity of my career. My continued collaboration with our marketing department provides me with creative freedom and experience that allows me to grow both professionally and personally.
My team of VIPs has the opportunity to pitch ideas, analyze marketing data, and plan projects ou as creatives. Some posts, such as our CEO Hans Vestberg's on the top left, are used for higher figures within the company. This provides true visibility for a wide range of departments and partners.
I am dedicated to creating and managing content that reflects my passion and personality. Some posts are humor-based advertisements, such as the one on the right, while others focus on the well-being of Verizon's employees and their families. The post on the left is a video on Mental Health Awareness Day, which allowed me to showcase my love for writing and a bit of stop-motion fun.
As I reflect on my journey with Verizon, I’m proud of the innovative campaigns and content strategies I’ve contributed to. This role has allowed me to harness my creativity and strategic thinking to drive impactful social media engagement. Moving forward, I’m eager to continue leveraging these skills in new and exciting ways, always aiming to connect brands with their audiences in meaningful and authentic interactions.
